my name is ana, and i created farina bakeshop in april of 2020. since my first days of operation, i've been running farina out of my apartment in lakeview and delivering all over the greater chicago area (plus monthly Milwuakee trips).  my love of preparing baked goods comes from a deeper value of togetherness, instilled in me by my italian family and enjoyed during holidays, birthdays, and many other days growing up.

i've enjoyed baking for a long time, and i figured it was about time i put my creative energy to work. farina, which means "flour" in Italian, exists to provide baked goods for the people. that's where you come in. i can't wait to bake for you!

i am a no-frills one-woman operation, and it is my joy to curate my seasonal menus inspired by fresh ingredients and brought to life by some good old-fashioned butter, milk, and eggs. 

what truly sets farina apart is the effort i put into giving you a great experience from the moment you place your order to when you see me standing on your doorstep, goodies in hand.

september 2020 ushered in a new phase for farina. now operating as a monthly subscription box service, two seasonally inspired menu items are released each month for subscribers (opt in for non-subscribers) for guaranteed freshness and delicious new flavors.
